Before every album I start a new sound library, sourcing as many new sounds as possible to gain inspiration from. Over the years I've developed a huge love for film and television sampling. Finding some of the crunchiest sounds to add texture to my music production. I spend lots and lots of hours watching and listening to shows and films from a variety of genres and ages, hoping I end up with a handful of sonic goodies. A "kick, snare and hi-hat" could be made out of anything. This is my version of digging. This is a collection of cinematic percussive and atmospheric sounds. Some of which I've used of course ;) I hope this sample pack inspires you to experiment and create with no rules! Whether you're inspired by Pete Rock, Preemo, Dilla, Timbaland, Madlib or John Cage, Sound is art. Tell your story! Enjoy.
